Partner & Chief Executive Officer
Robert Baharian
Robert Baharian is a seasoned wealth management professional, entrepreneur, and financial thought leader. As Director of Longview Capital Partners and Co-Founder of Ekam Capital, he directly oversees capital strategy, investment direction, and deployment for individuals, families, and aligned partners across both public and private markets, with a focus on disciplined long-term wealth preservation and growth.

Over more than two decades in financial markets, Robert has developed deep expertise in capital allocation across listed and private market strategies, including equities, fixed income, private credit, and real estate debt. His work centres on portfolio architecture, structural risk oversight, and disciplined capital deployment through economic cycles. He applies a macro-informed framework to asset allocation and capital partnerships, with an emphasis on downside protection, liquidity management, and long-term compounding.

In parallel with his capital markets career, Robert has founded and scaled ventures beyond financial services, including a profit-for-purpose food business established to deliver both commercial sustainability and measurable social impact. In doing so, he established a partnership with a globally operating social enterprise based in New York.

A recognised voice in the finance community, Robert hosts The Wide Lens Podcast and contributes commentary on markets, investing, and capital allocation through media and industry forums. His career reflects a sustained commitment to disciplined capital stewardship and meaningful social impact.
Partner & Chief Investment Strategist
Jonathan Sim
Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience in investment management, bankingand finance. Over the course of his career, Jonathan has financed over AU$2 billion in property finance transactions.

Most recently, Jonathan has held the position of Head of Real Estate Financeat ASX-listed real estate investment fund manager, Eildon Capital Limited. He has previously been responsible for the real estate investment activities of ASX listed fund manager, CVC Limited, prominent family office funds and institutional funds, managing portfolios of real estate investment in excess of AU$500 million. Jonathan has extensive business, finance, investment, analytical, risk management, governance and compliance skills developed across a range of roles.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a member of the Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking.
